Far Cry 6 Danny Trejo

Far Cry 6 Danny Trejo Missions Arrive Today, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon – Classic Edition Also Available

Two crossover missions featuring Danny Trejo have been released for Far Cry 6. At the same time, Season Pass owners will be able to play Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon – Classic Edition from today too. Those who don’t own the Season Pass can grab the game separately from the PlayStation Store.

The crossover missions are available for free for all players. Not only do they feature tacos, they also feature a whole load of strong language as can only really be expected from a Trejo crossover. Both are available in solo play or as co-op missions with another player. Those who complete the pair will be rewarded with a motorcycle and sidecar fitted with a minigun and fetching flame paint job. The missions are:

  • “Danny & Dani vs Everybody”, a new Yaran story in which players will need to prevent Antón Castillo’s forces from blowing up Danny’s plan to come to Yara to make his world-famous tasty tacos to feed the hungry.
  • The sixth and final Special Operation, “Malagua”. Upon completing the mission “Danny & Dani vs Everybody”, Trejo returns a favor by joining players to help students protesting the Antón’s military – who is deploying the chemical weapon (PG-240X) in Yara.

In addition to the missions, a Danny Trejo Bundle is also available from the in-game store. This includes themed cosmetics with which to customise the player character, including Trejo’s signature real-life outfit and taco truck. Today marks the proper release of the Trejo missions after they had to be removed in a patch in November thanks to an accidental early release. The Trejo crossover is the first of three with the Rambo-themed “All The Blood” mission due to arrive in February and a Stranger Things crossover coming in March.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon — Classic Edition is also available today. First released in 2013 for PlayStation 3, the game has received an overhaul appropriate for a release on PS4 and PS5. Players assume the role of Sergeant Rex “Power” Colt, a state-of-the-art Mark IV Cyber Commando in a cyber-future version of 2007. He’s tasked with saving humanity by destroying killer cyborgs, mutated scientists, metal sharks, and Blood Dragons that can shoot lasers from their eyes, all while making those famous one-liner quips.

Blood Dragon is part of the game’s Season Pass, which also includes three DLC episodes that focus on infamous Far Cry villains. The first of those episodes, Vaas: Insanity, was released on November 16. Episode 2 – Pagan: Control is due to arrive in January while Episode 3 – Joseph: Collapse will conclude the Season Pass in March. Those wanting to play any of this content without purchasing the Season Pass can grab each of the episodes and Blood Dragon individually from the PlayStation Store.
