Publisher Namco Bandai and Developers Game Republic, who’ve also worked on Genji: Days of the Blade and Folklore for the PS3, newest title, Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom (formerly known as Majin: The Fallen Realm) just screams ‘ICO‘ and there’s a good reason. Ex-members of Team ICO are on the development team. In addition the games major focus is co-op gameplay between the main character and the ‘Majin’ creature. It doesn’t hurt that game features a gorgeous palette of colors and environments to really draw you into the fantasy world of the Forsaken Kingdom. The newest screenshots show just how beautiful this game really is and fans of fantasy should definitely give the game a chance as this game could be a sleeper hit in the waiting.
Directed by Yoshiki Okamoto of Capcom fame, Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom looks to take back the cursed Kingdom sometime this Summer. No precise release date has been given, however Amazon.com has it scheduled for an a late August release. Pre-order it now or the Majin just might force you to.
