A Chill Fortnite Deep Freeze Bundle Is Heading to Stores

No one can escape winter, not even Fortnite. Epic Games has announced that the game is getting a new winter-themed bundle: Fortnite: Deep Freeze Bundle. The developer also revealed it will be partnering up with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to bring the Deep Freeze Bundle to physical retailers. It is releasing on November 13, 2018, and will cost $29.99.

The Fortnite: Deep Freeze Bundle will include the base game (which is free to download) and some cold weather-appropriate gear. The Frostbite Outfit, Cold Front Glider, Chill-Axe Pickaxe, and Freezing Point Back Bling are all part of this bundle. In addition, you will get 1,000 V-Bucks, which is enough to nab the Season 6 Battle Pass.

The Fortnite: Deep Freeze Bundle will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. It can also be purchased digitally, either in-game or through any of the digital marketplaces.

With the holidays rapidly approaching, this bundle may be the perfect way to bring new players into Fortnite. Now that cross-play is finally enabled on the PlayStation 4, the upcoming holiday season may be the best time to play Fortnite.

Epic Games has been experimenting with physical Fortnite bundles lately. Back in September 2018, a Dualshock 4 bundle was announced that included an exclusive skin and more V-Bucks.
