As recently announced, Max Payne voice actor James McCaffrey will return to work with Remedy Entertainment once again in Control. He will be joined by Matthew Porretta, the voice of Alan Wake.
The video below focuses on Control‘s key players: the former and new directors of the FBC (Federal Bureau of Control), a government organization that deals with supernatural phenomena. McCaffrey plays the role of Zachariah Trench, FBC’s former director, and Courtney Hope plays the role of new director Jesse Faden.
Watch the video below to learn what differentiates the two characters.
Speaking to DualShockers, Remedy’s Sam Lake revealed that McCaffrey was a perfect fit for the role as Trench is a “hard-boiled, cynical, older guy.”
“Then we started thinking, well, maybe as a younger man he was a cop, or a fed, and this hard-boiled man of action who must now be pushed up the ladder to be the director, who could be perfect for a role like that?” Lake recalled. “Well, yeah, James was a natural fit for that.”
Control is in development for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. A release date has yet to be announced.
