PSX 2017: Tennis World Tour Serves up Gameplay Footage

Originally announced during the Sony Paris Games Week 2017 press conference, Tennis World Tour got to shine at the PlayStation Experience as well. The new tennis title  The simulation tennis title that’s set to bring all the exciting court action to PS4 gamers, and the developers showed a small gameplay demo during Sony’s live stream. We got to see over two minutes of footage on the first major tennis release on PlayStation 4 (besides the PS2 rerelease of Hot Shots Tennis), so those wanting to fill that niche will be glad to know what they’re getting with the game. The professional tennis simulation title is also set to release on Xbox One, and PC in the future.

Tennis World Tour is being developed by Breakpoint, a studio that is filled with employees that have worked on tennis games in the past.. It will have a full career mode for players to compete in, and 30 real-life pro tennis players have been confirmed for the game. The developer features several veteran game designers including Pierre André, who worked on the Top Spin series previously.

Tennis World Tour releases in Spring 2018 on PlayStation 4. It’s also coming to Xbox One and PC, but it’s not yet known if it’ll release on all systems at the same time.
