Middle-earth: Shadow of War is now out, and is reviewed highly by most outlets, our own included. In addition to the fascinating Nemesis System, there’s a host of skills and collectible gear that can be obtained to make Talion a more powerful ranger.
Some of the best gear in Middle-earth: Shadow of War is hidden behind collectibles in the environment and puzzles. If you want Talion just dress up like a 1000-year old elven metalsmith, then you’ll want to open the Ithildin door in each region to get the legendary Bright Lord set of gear. Each door holds a single piece of gear, for five in total (you will not get the Legendary Bright Lord Rune from these doors).
Ithildin Fragment Locations
To find the six Ithildin fragments in each of the five regions, you’ll need to visit the Haedir and scout the maps. Once you’ve revealed the locations, visit each of them and enter the wraith world by tapping L1, and then hit R1 to reveal the rune. You’ll need to do a simple little puzzle where you twiddle each thumbstick until the word comes into focus. Do this at each of the six in a region to be able to unlock the Ithildin door.
Ithildin Door Locations
The Ithildin doors are located in each of the barrows. The barrows will be located when you use the Haedir to scan each region. Once you visit the barrows once, you can select the icon on the map to fast travel back to it. Once you have all six Ithildin fragments in a region, visit the barrow to begin the process of unlocking the door.

In the land of Mordor where the Shadows lie
We bear our banners aloft, boots like Drums
Our Cadence quick, our countenance dire.
For who in this dark, dream-haunted Land dares
Resist the righteous flame of Wrath
And Doom themselves to despair and death?
Reward: Bright Lord’s Armor
Cirith Ungol Ithildin Door Poem Solution
When the sun Rises, the shadows must retreat
Fleeing in fear from the Fires of dawn
The Night never knew that its end was fleet
As a Bright Lord bears Beacons of flame.
The sun rises, yes — but from the West it Shines
Marching e’er Eastward, e’er eternal, e’er bright.
Reward: Bright Lord’s Cloak
Gorgoroth Ithildin Door Poem Solution
They stalk and Lurk, then lash out so furious
Yet our Bulwark is proof against their rage
Our hard-ringed, hand-forged armor Impervious
To predations from the Powers of darkness
No matter how Vicious or how vile
To assail the Bright Lord is to falter and Fail.
Reward: Bright Lord’s Sword
Nurnen Ithildin Door Poem Solution
Let our foes fortify with Iron and stone
Let them summon scabrous Serpents, feral beasts
It will Avail them nought. Across the ages none
Have an army that wield such weapons, such Woe
Such doom against the dark-benighted Hordes who dare
Claim dominion over a Mordor soon bright.
Reward: Bright Lord’s Bow
Seregost Ithildin Door Poem Solution
Fair Mordor Slumbers, entangled in night
A vipers’ Nest of sorrow and strife
Poisoned by pernicious betrayal and blight
Trapped in the grasp of gelid corpse-hands
Yet behold! The Bright Lord Comes as a wildfire
Burning only what is Base, that all else may thrive.
Reward: Bright Lord’s Dagger
