Once again there’s a new release on top of the Japanese sales chart, as Konami’s football sim managed to dethrone Destiny 2. In fact, Bungie’s first-person shooter dropped to fifth place in its second week as it managed to sell 20,000 additional copies. Ahead of it were two new releases in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (which finally came out in Japan) and Metroid: Samus Returns on 3DS, and Splatoon 2 managed to continue to be a force as it sold nearly 40,000 copies.
As far as hardware goes, the Nintendo Switch once again managed to top the charts by a wide margin. It outsold the second best selling console (the PlayStation 4) by nearly 20,000 units.
There weren’t many new PS4 releases on this week’s chart, but Winning Eleven 2018 also managed to score the seventh spot on PS3, while F1 2017 on PS4 grabbed number 11.
