Since Battlefield 1 update 1.04 went live on Tuesday, PlayStation 4 Pro owners have taken to social media to report that they’re experiencing downgraded frame-rates and visuals. The comprehensive update, which brought with it a plethora of fixes, weighed in at about 1.97 GB on consoles.
When DICE LA Engineer Julian Manolov was asked about the issues, he said that he had “no idea” about the Pro since he’s been working on platform independent aspects of the game. However, Development Director Nils Hallberg confirmed that the studio is aware of the issues and promised to look into it. Interestingly, one of his tweet suggests that it’s not just the PS4 Pro version that’s been affected. “We are investigating why some people experience a degrade on PS4, PS4 Pro and PC,” he wrote.
