3rd Party PS4 Elite Wireless Controller Listed at Target for $79.99

A new listing has popped up on Target.com for a PlayStation 4 Elite Wireless Controller. Priced at $79.99 USD, it has a release date of November 1 and, according to the description, “offers the most comfortable, customizable gaming experience possible.” Including interchangeable D-Pad, joysticks and paddles in the box, the features list also shows that it’s compatible with Xbox Elite Controller accessories:

Features

  • Bluetooth control
  • Rubberized housing for firm grip
  • Compatible with Xbox Elite Controller accessories
  • Charges with included 9’ braided cable
  • Fully customizable buttons and triggers
  • Interchangeable Back Paddles with 2 preset configurations
  • Preset 1: paddles emulate the front buttons
  • Preset 2: paddles emulate RB, LB, RT, and LT.
  • Keep your fingers on the thumb stick while executing intricate moves
  • Magnetic! Easily attach and remove paddles without any tools
  • Compatible with Xbox One paddles for added flexibility

The manufacturer of the controller isn’t listed in the product description, so it’s unclear who’s behind this. Also, one of the features says the “paddles emulate RB, LB, RT, and LT,” but those are terms used for Xbox controllers. The DualShock uses R1/R2 and L1/L2. The PS4 Elite Wireless Controller also lacks the PlayStation logo anywhere on the front or back.

What do you think of the controller?
