2K Games and Hangar 13 have released a new trailer for Mafia III, detailing the mob rackets that players can dismantle as Lincoln Clay. Called the “hot bed of criminal enterprise in 1968 New Bordeaux,” these are “pervasive and diverse mob rackets and hideouts that Lincoln Clay targets for takedown throughout the city.”
A fictional rendition of New Orleans, here’s how the developer describes New Bordeux:
A vast, diverse and seedy open world ruled by the mob and corrupt officials and richly detailed with the sights, sounds and emotionally-charged social atmosphere of the era.
Hangar 13 has previously said that the city will be fully available from the start of the game for those who want to drive around and explore. You can also unlock districts by simply following the story.
Mafia III releases on October 7 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows and OSX. For more trailers and our previous coverage, check out our dedicated game hub here.
