Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide is releasing worldwide on October 4 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, developer Fatshark announced today. They’ll be publishing the digital version, while Nordic Games will handle the physical version.
A four player co-op action game set in the Warhammer universe that launched last year on PC, Vermintide for PS4 and Xbox One will have all of the previously released DLC. This includes the Last Stand game mode (fight against horde after horde of Skaven in intense battles) and its two maps, Sigmar’s Blessing, and the Drachenfels DLC, which adds three additional adventure maps set outside of Ubersreik.
Here’s what Fatshark says about Vermintide:
The once proud city of Ubersreik now stands in ruin at the hands of the dreaded Skaven army. Few have survived their ruthless invasion.
Team up with 3 friends and work together to thin out the ratmen’s forces and drive them out of the city. Assume the role of one of five heroes, and hack, slash, smash , burn and pierce the vile Skaven using a multitude of weapons. Fight your way through the city of Ubersreik, from the top of the Magnus Tower to the bowels of the Under Empire.
This is our last stand and only you can stem the Vermintide.
Fatshark CEO Martin Wahlund said:
More than half a million PC gamers have already taken Vermintide to their heart, and this fall it’s time for console players to do the same. The consoles will get an extended version that includes all DLCs released for the PC version to date. We are over the moon to be working with Nordic Games on this release as their experience and expertise are incomparable.
Will you be getting Vermintide in October?
