EA Sports is currently investigating inconsistencies with the fitness and chemistry levels found in FIFA Ultimate Team.
First spotted by the soccer sim’s impassioned community, users claimed to have unearthed a technical glitch that seemingly proved a longstanding fan theory regarding FUT handicapping — that is, EA Sports have been nerfing highly-rated teams without notifying players. A detailed breakdown of the allegations has been curated by the FIFA subreddit.
In response to those inconsistencies, Community Manager Rob Hodson posted the following status report:
Thanks to the FUT community for raising awareness of a potential fitness and chemistry inconsistency in some FUT items. After hearing this, our teams were in over the weekend and continue to thoroughly investigate the information. We will keep you informed with updates from the investigation.
Our commitment to a fun, fair and secure experience in FIFA is ongoing, and as a community your feedback helps us achieve that goal. A special thanks for your continuous efforts across all channels.
Tell us, have you experienced any of these issues raised by the FUT community? We’ll keep you updated as EA readies an update for FIFA 16.
