While Ubisoft announced that we won’t see an entry into the Assassin’s Creed franchise this year, it seems fans will get something else to fill their plate when it comes to the series.
At GDC, Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed will get a virtual reality spin-off and will be called the Assassin’s Creed VR Experience. It will tie in to the upcoming Assassin’s Creed movie out this December and will have scenes filmed alongside the movie.

Assassin’s Creed VR Experience is being developed by Fox and VR company Practical Magic. In case you’re getting giddy at an Assassin’s Creed VR game out this year, Practical Magic boss Matthew Lewis stressed that it was “not a game.”
Anyone planning to give this a go if and when you pick up a PlayStation VR later this year?
