According to GfK data posted on Boerse Online and Le Figaro, tranlsated by NeoGAF, the PlayStation 4 was the biggest console of 2015 in France and Germany.
Starting with Germany, Boerse Online says PS4 sales in 2015 rose 23% to nearly 1.4 million units, bringing the lifetime total to about 2.8 million. For the Xbox One, it sold 270,000 units in 2015 (up 21%), and is at 600,000 lifetime. The Wii U, meanwhile, is at 690,000 lifetime.

As for the biggest games in Germany, FIFA 16 sold 1.2 million copies, FIFA 15 450,000 copies, and Grand Theft Auto V 780,000 copies.
Looking at France, PS4 sales in 2015 were up 20% to one million, putting its lifetime total at 2.16 million. The Xbox One and Wii U were at 298,000 and 228,000, respectively, bringing their lifetime totals to 715,000 and 742,000.

Previously, the PS4 passed one million in Germany in October 2014, and it passed one million in France in December 2014.
Worldwide, the PS4 is sitting at 35.9 million units sold.
