Konami Announces Free UEFA Euro 2016 Content for PES 2016 Owners in a Bid to “Regain Trust”

Konami has announced that all Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 players will receive UEFA Euro 2016 content for free in hopes that it’ll regain players’ trust. Over on its European website, the publisher acknowledged that it had “been a difficult few months for fans” as they lost confidence in the way Konami was delivering content.

Konami’s Football & Alliances Director, Erik Bladinieres, noted that the recent Data Packs were missing content that players expected to receive, resulting in a loss of support for the company. Now, the PES Production team wants to make things right. Bladinieres said:

With this announcement we hope we can regain their trust. The next Data Pack is scheduled for early December, including the Maracana stadium long-awaited by our Brazilian fans, more faces, new national team kits just announced in early November, club teams and the player roster which was confirmed on October 19th. Please wait for further announcement details. We promise for this issue to be resolved in the near future and will strive to keep delivering quality content to our fans, for free. What the UEFA EURO 2016 content will be has to be defined, but all content delivered by Data Pack featuring EURO for next year’s prestigious tournament will be free for all existing users.

We’ll update our readers when we have more information about the UEFA Euro 2016 content.
