Placing behind FIFA 16 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, Fallout 4 became the third biggest launch of 2015 so far in terms of unit sales when it released last week on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
GfK Chart-Track adds that Fallout 4’s week 1 was 213% up on Fallout: New Vegas, which was the previous franchise record holder for best debut. Additionally, 53% of copies were sold on PS4, 41% on Xbox One, and 6% on PC.
Elsewhere on the chart, Rise of the Tomb Raider debuted in 4th, with 85% of sales on Xbox One and 15% on Xbox 360, Football Manager 2016 placed in 7th, and StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void was outside the top 20 in 23rd.
