China Surpasses US in Total Game Revenues, Becomes Global Leader

China now leads the world in game revenues, a new Top 100 Countries by Game Revenues report has just revealed.

According to the report, which was put out by the research firm Newzoo, China has surpassed the US in total game revenues, coming in at number one in the list of the top 100 countries. In US dollars, China’s 2015 game revenues total over $22 billion, while the US comes in at just under $22 billion. Check out the details on the top 25 countries below:
