With the PlayStation 4’s price dropped in Japan last week, it appears Target has leaked a price drop coming soon to the United States.
Previously listed in the Video Games section of Target’s website before it was taken down, the ad (above) clearly states “$50 price drop on the PS4. The best place to play. Now $349.99.”
While the $349.99 price drop in the US isn’t live anywhere on their site, Target is offering both the Destiny and The Last of Us Remastered PS4 bundles for $399.99 with a $50 Target gift card. The other PS4 bundles featuring Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, Star Wars Battlefront, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 are all still regular price.
Last month, Sony responded to a potential PS4 price drop in the UK by saying it was “actually a promotional price that will be available across a selection of retailers for a limited time only.” Xbox Boss Phil Spencer, meanwhile, fully expects Sony to drop the PS4’s price.
If Sony announces a PS4 price drop, we’ll let you know.
