Sword Coast Legends Delayed Until Q1 2016 on PS4 and Xbox One

Slated for PC release earlier this month, and PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in late 2015, Digital Extremes and n-Space announced today that Sword Coast Legends has been delayed and is now releasing on October 20 for PC, with the PS4/XB1 versions arriving in Q1 2016.

A party-based RPG set in the Dungeons & Dragons Forgotten Realms universe, Sword Coast Legends’ delay was explained by n-Space President Dan Tudge:

When we set out to create Sword Coast Legends we wanted to give players an exciting new way to experience the magic of playing D&D with friends. The decision to delay the launch of Sword Coast Legends was not an easy one to make, but after receiving feedback from our dedicated community, it became clear that a few more weeks of polish would provide our customers with the best possible experience at launch.

As a thanks to players, everyone who pre-ordered Sword Coast Legends will receive the upcoming Rage of Demons DLC for free.

Sword Coast Legends is available for pre-order through the PlayStation Store on PS4 right now for a discounted price of $34.79. You’ll also receive 170 Platinum for Warframe as a bonus.

What do you think of the delay?
