Bethesda Shows Off 20 Minutes of Wolfenstein: The Old Blood Gameplay

At PAX East today, Bethesda held a livestream for Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, their upcoming standalone prequel to Wolfenstein: The New Order, which was then uploaded to YouTube by Eurogamer.

Featuring 20 minutes of gameplay complete with commentary, you’ll get to learn about the new weapons in The Old Blood, see the person playing throw a grenade at themselves, find some collectibles, and much more.

Also during the video, Bethesda talked about the model of releasing a standalone piece of digital content, mentioning that the low barrier of entry at $20 really appealed to them. While this won’t necessarily become the norm for Bethesda games, they add, “If [people] really like it, maybe we can do more of this down the road.”

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood launches on May 5 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC at $19.99/£14.99/€19.99.

How do you think the game looks? Will you be downloading it in May?
