A listing on Korea’s Game Rating Board seems to suggest that developer SNK will be releasing a remastered version of its fighting game, The King of Fighters ’94 Re-Bout. SNK has previously released titles like The King of Fighters XI and Samurai Shodown VI on the PlayStation 3 as PS2 classics. And if reports are true, then The King of Fighters ’94 Re-Bout is to get the same treatment.
Siliconera states that the listing reveals Sony Computer Entertainment Korea as a publisher, and that SNK’s previous re-releases were outed the same way. The King of Fighters ’94 Re-Bout has enhanced graphics, 3D backgrounds, and a feature that allows players to customize their team. Siliconera further reports that while this version was only released in Japan, PS2 Classics are region-free so fans can still get their hands on the game.
Anyone looking forward to this?
