Sledgehammer Games has introduced a new team based multiplayer game mode called “One Shot” for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. According to an official description, it’s a sniper-only mode with decreased health and “highly specific” classes. The five classes below (in no particular order) have been designed in collaboration with Call of Duty pro player NaDeSHoT, and they’re supposed to “test the true sniper skill of Advanced Warfare.”

Each class gets the MORS, a bolt-action railgun sniper, alongside various perks, scorestreaks, and Exo abilities.

Sledgehammer is also running a One Shot double XP weekend until Monday, 29 Dec, 9AM PST. However, due to the recent PlayStation Network and Xbox Live outages, Sledgehammer boss Michael Condrey said on Twitter that the developer is monitoring the situation so if needed, the double XP weekend may be extended.

We’re aware of, & monitoring, the 1st party issues affecting #AdvancedWarfare. Keep your powder dry- we’ll extend 2XP in One Shot if ongoing

Anyone planning on giving this a go?
