Assassin’s Creed Unity Trophy Guide

Welcome to PlayStation LifeStyle’s Trophy Guide for Assassin’s Creed Unity! If you’ve ever played an Assassin’s Creed game before, you already know what to expect Trophy-wise. If not, have no worries, this Platinum Trophy is fairly easy to collect. The Trophies here are more time consuming than difficult. Fortunately, there are no competitive multiplayer Trophies, so, that means there is no level grind this time around. There is multiplayer in the form of co-op, but those Trophies are not difficult at all. Also, none of the Trophies are missable. Anything you have left to collect once you’ve beaten the main story, will still be available.

Spoiler Alert: There are spoilers within the guide. If you’re trying to avoid spoilers, it’s recommended that you complete the game before reading any further.

Thawed – Bronze

– Free a total of 10 trapped Assassins.

The trapped Assassins are freed by earning the 1st score indicated during Rift missions. Once you reach the score, a trapped Assassin will become available to be freed. There are only seven Rift missions, so, you’ll have to replay three of them to earn this Trophy.

Blade In The Crowd – Bronze

– Assassinate 100 enemies.

Using your hidden blade while remaining undetected are the kills that count as assassinations. This is a Trophy that will pop as you progress through the game. If you die or restart a checkpoint, you won’t lose your progress to this.

I Want It All – Silver

– Complete all Single Player mission challenges.

This Trophy is the same thing as achieving 100% synchronization in missions from previous Assassin’s Creed games. Each mission will have challenges that you need to complete in addition to the main objective. You only need to complete the challenges for Sequences one through 12. Press “Options” while in a mission to check the secondary objectives. If you fail any of them, they can all be replayed via the “Progress Tracker” menu. If you fail a challenge during a mission, you can restart the checkpoint or die to try again.

Below are videos detailing how to complete the challenges for every Sequence.

Networking – Bronze

– Renovate your first Social Club.

See the Trophy “An Old Internet Meme” for more details.

Simply repeat 10 times to unlock the Trophy. This will be another Trophy that will come naturally as you progress through the game.

From The Past – Bronze

– Unlock the Medieval Armor in the Cafe Theatre.

The armor is unlocked by completing all of the Nostradamus Enigmas. Each one gives you a riddle that is referencing a location somewhere on the map. Locked chests show up on the map as red chest icons. You’ll need a couple of things before you can pick a locked chest. Complete the lock picking mini game to unlock a chest.

Curiosity – Silver

There are 294 chests that need to be opened. The locked chests will also count toward the total for this. The Initiate and Nomad chests do not count toward this Trophy. Those will be marked on the map as blue and yellow chest icons. Luckily, the chests are marked on your map. Open them all up and the Trophy is yours.

Visited Once – Bronze

– Complete all Co-op and Heist missions at least once.

There are 11 Co-op missions and seven Heists. Simply complete them all to earn this Trophy. You can actually do them alone but that can be very challenging. Renovating the Cafe Theatre and other Social Clubs early will help with this as they generate money for you as you play.

And Stay Down! – Bronze

– Perform a ground execution.

You will need to purchase the “Ground Finisher,” “Staggering Strike” and “One-Handed Weapon Master”skills before you can earn this Trophy. Knock an enemy down with the “Staggering Strike” and then press Square to execute them on the ground.

“And Stay Down!” video guide.

– Synchronize all Viewpoints.

There are 23 Viewpoints that need to be synchronized. Just like in previous Assassin’s Creed games, you need to climb to the top of theses and press O to synchronize them. When you sync a Viewpoint, it will reveal items, chests, and side mission icons on your map for the region that the Viewpoint was in.

Help Me! – Bronze

– Complete 10 Crowd Events.

This is another Trophy that will come as you play through the game. These are random and will pop up as you are traveling through  the city. A message will pop up on your screen letting you know that a Crowd Event is near. Complete the objective for 10 different Events to earn this.

Hand of Justice – Bronze

– Solve a Murder Mystery.

The Murder Mysteries are marked on your map as a magnifying glass. All you have to do is examine clues from a murder crime scene and then accuse someone of the murder. These missions will become available after the 1st Memory of Sequence 2.

Ransacking Versailles – Bronze

You will travel to Versailles as part of the story. You can actually earn this Trophy at the very beginning of the game in Sequence 1. Accurate Prediction – Bronze

– Complete a Nostradamus Enigma.

See the Trophy “From The Past” for more details.

Tricolore – Bronze

– Collect all Cockades.

This is a trophy that might best saved for after you complete the story. That is because you will have traveled all over the map and Cockades show up on your map when you are near them. So, once you complete the game you should have a majority of the locations unlocked on your map. The Cockades are collectibles that are scattered across the map. There are 128 of them to collect. The map will tell you how many you have collected in each region.

Don’t Need It – Bronze

– Drop 20 Money Pouches in the streets.

There are a couple of things that need to be done before you can attempt this trophy. First, you will have to complete Memory Sequence 2. Next, you need to buy the “Money Bombs” skill from the “Ranged” section of the “Skills” menu. Unity is a little different than past Assassin’s Creed games as you are not throwing your money but using an actual weapon. They can be bought from vendors or, you can use how ever many you have in a mission, restart the checkpoint and throw them again. You can repeat that process until the Trophy pops without having to spend your money on replacement bombs. As you progress into the game you’ll make more and more money and the bombs are not that expensive. You could just drop them in front of a merchant and restock until the Trophy pops as well.

Patron of the Arts – Bronze

– Watch a play in the Cafe Theatre.

Plays become available once you have completed all five Cafe Theatre missions and have bought all five renovations. Once those are complete, plays will be going on at the Cafe. Simply stand near and watch a play until the Trophy pops. You have to watch a play from beginning to end, they aren’t very long.

“Patron of the Arts” video guide.

Share The Wealth – Bronze

– Get all the rewards in a Co-op mission.

All you need to do here is unlock all of the equipment rewards for a Co-op mission. The game will check off the rewards for each mission as you unlock them. Replay a mission until you earn every equipment reward. It should only take a few play-throughs of a mission to unlock them all. The “Sync Points” do not count for this.

Safe and Secure – Bronze

See the Trophy “An Old Internet Meme” for more details.

Room With A View – Bronze

Simply buy a long weapon and get 20 kills with it. Long weapons are equipped by going into the “Customization” > “Gear Loadout” > “Weapons” > “Long”.  Buy a long weapon that has high damage to speed this process up if you’re getting all 20 kills at once. Restarting a checkpoint or dying does not restart the count.

Buy a heavy weapon and get 20 kills with it. Heavy weapons are equipped by going into the “Customization” > “Gear Loadout” > “Weapons” > “Heavy”.  Buy a heavy weapon that has high damage to speed this process up if you’re getting all 20 kills at once. Restarting a checkpoint or dying does not restart the count.

Master Architect – Silver

– Complete all the renovations of the Cafe Theatre.

There are only five renovations that need to be purchased. Renovations are purchased from the “Intendant’s Study”.  They can be purchased at any point in the game after you’ve gained access to the Theatre.

  2. Hall – 500F

  4. Upper Floors – 5,000F
  5. Finishing Touches – 15,000F

Guillotined – Bronze

– Kill an enemy with a lift counterweight.

This Trophy can be a little tricky as the enemy has to be directly below the counterweight. Get a guard to follow you near a lift, use the lift to repel up and the counterweight should crush the enemy if he is still in place. Smoke Bombs will help make this easier as it will stun the enemy, keeping him in place.

“Guillotined” video guide.

Never Say Die – Bronze

– Revive a partner in Co-op.

Another easy Trophy, when a Co-op partner dies, run up to them and hold O to revive them.

Merciful Killer – Bronze

– Perform 10 non-lethal takedowns in a Co-op mission.

You have to remain undetected in order for this to count. Come up behind an unaware enemy and hold O until they pass out unconscious. All 10 have to be done in one Co-op mission.

Choreography – Bronze

– Perform 10 Co-op sync kills.

You’ll need to have at least two people to earn this trophy. Simply kill two (or more, depending on how many players are in the mission) enemies at the same time. You will know you successfully did this when “Double, Triple or Quad Assassination” appears on screen. All 10 sync kills do not need to be done in one mission.

The Bells! The Bells! – Bronze

– Sabotage 5 alarm bells.

To sabotage an alarm bell, run up to it and press O. There are alarm bells all over the city. There are also secondary objectives in missions that require you to disable alarms. It is possible to sabotage the same bell five times by restarting a checkpoint if you are in a mission. Unity-Bell

Must’ve Left It Open – Bronze

– Lockpick 5 doors.

You need to have the “Apprentice Locksmith” skill unlocked before you can earn this Trophy. You also need lockpicks. Those can be bought or looted off of dead enemies. When you come across a locked door, complete the lockpicking mini game to unlock it. You will encounter locked doors in some of the missions. The “Journeyman Locksmith” and “Master Locksmith” skills will help make this easier.

I Got Skills – Silver

– Unlock all Skills.

Skills are unlocked by spending “Sync Points.” Sync Points are earned by completing missions and picking up the Sync Point collectibles in the Co-op missions. Finding all of the Sync Point collectibles, completing every main and Co-op mission will give you enough Points to unlock every skill. The skills are found by going to “Customization” > “Skills” screen.
