You a fan of Paul W.S. Anderson’s Resident Evil films? Regardless if you are, Resident Evil will be turned into a TV series by the same production company that produces the movies — Constantin Films — once the final film in the movie franchise is complete.
Unfortunately, that’s all the info we know so far. Constatin Film’s next Resident Evil movie, Resident Evil – The Final Chapter, is currently in pre-production, with director Paul W.S. Anderson mentioning in June that he was in the middle of the script’s first draft.
Let’s hope that that this Resident Evil TV show doesn’t stray away from the franchise’s plot this time around. And how knows? Maybe it will take cues from The Walking Dead and other successful zombie shows to actually make it worthwhile.
