Bummed that anticipated games like Batman: Arkham Knight, The Order: 1886, Evolve, Battlefield Hardline and more have been delayed? Obviously, you’re not the only one. However, Sony UK VP and MD Fergal Gara thinks that in certain situations, delaying a title is the right thing to do.
Personally I think it’s the right call…f you’ve made a big investment and you bring it out half ready, for the wrong reasons, then there’s going to be a cost. You’re certainly not going to sell a second version of that new franchise you might be taking to market.
If a game being delayed means its quality will be brought up significantly, then I’m all for it. You can only launch a game once, and better to do it right than rush something out.
Are you annoyed at all the game delays? What would your solution be to reach a good middle ground?
