Deep Silver’s Gamescom 2014 Lineup Includes Playable Dead Island 2, Metro Redux and More

Publisher Deep Silver is bringing to Gamescom 150 gaming stations for its upcoming titles. The company has also confirmed that its bringing the first playable build of Dead Island 2 to the event. 

Lineup includes the following:

Dead Island 2 (Open World Action-RPG, deadisland.com)

The zombie apocalypse has hit the iconic, sunny realms of California. Building on the strengths of the multi-million best-selling hit Dead Island, Dead Island 2 delivers a shared survival, open-world zombie experience set in a clash of natural beauty and bloody horror and violence: paradise meets hell once again! Developed by award-winning studio YAGER, it combines the classic Dead Island elements of immersive close combat, action and role-playing with crazy, never-before-seen handcrafted weapons and over-the-top characters.

Metro Redux (First-Person-Shooter, enterthemetro.com)

Metro Redux is the ultimate double game collection, including the definitive versions of both Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light, each rebuilt in the latest and greatest iteration of the 4A Engine for next-gen consoles and PC. For the first time, console owners can expect smooth 60FPS gameplay and state of the art visuals that were once only available on high-end PC hardware.

Risen 3: Titan Lords (RPG, risen.deepsilver.com)

Risen 3: Titan Lords is the newest opus by iconic German developers Piranha Bytes, the inventors of the cult Gothic series. The key element of the Gothic series as well as the Risen series is the vivid world and the freedom to explore it. The world of Risen 3: Titan Lords will be diverse, authentic and full of life – providing the player with an authentic, classic RPG experience.

Sacred 3 (Arcade Hack ‘n’ Slash, sacred-world.com)

Sacred 3 features classic arcade Hack ‘n’ Slash action centered around drop-in, drop-out cooperative multiplayer for both offline (2 players) and online (4 players) play. The game brings back fan-favourite characters such as the Seraphim, or the Safiri. Each character class features its own unique skills and weapons which can be upgraded to match the player’s very own combat style. As they master the art of war, players will fight their way through enemy hordes and try to outshine their fellow companions on their way to become the greatest hero of all.
