Admittedly, Io-Interactive has been quiet about their new-gen Hitman game since announcing it back in January 2014. Well, they broke their silence today on the Hitman website by showing off the above piece of concept art for the title. This piece of art is from a location set in Central Europe, with the entire building – inside and out – available for exploring. Io adds: “For a sense of scale, the building on its own is larger than any location in Hitman: Absolution.”
Elsewhere in the post, it was revealed that Hitman won’t be coming to E3 2014 and will “be under wraps for a bit longer.” The reason for this is because “we’re focusing all of our time and efforts into creating the best possible Hitman game. That’s our number one priority and we don’t want to divert valuable resources to show something before it’s ready.”
More details about this Hitman title are going to come later this year, but Io-Interactive said, “We will only lift the lid on the game once we feel we’re ready to.”
