In the near future — aiming for the end of next week — PlayStation LifeStyle will be bringing you a review of Disgaea 3: Abscence of Detention for the PlayStation Vita. I’ve been playing it since January, and the game is a very faithful port of its PS3 version. Developer Nippon Ichi Software and publisher NIS America have sent out some English screens.
Without getting too much into my thoughts so far, I can readily recommend the game to anyone who has liked the Disgaea series before, but missed out on this one. It came out at a time when there were far fewer PS3 owners than there are now, so some may have skipped it.
Disgaea 3 launched alongside the Vita itself in December of 2011 in Japan, and it’s currently expected to ship to North American retailers in mid April.
