Team Ninja has published a new FAQ for PS5 exclusive Rise of the Ronin on the PlayStation Store, revealing multiplayer and difficulty information. The developer had previously confirmed that Rise of the Ronin will be relatively accessible, with multiple difficulties. We now have more info on its difficulty levels alongside multiplayer.
Rise of the Ronin difficulty levels and multiplayer details
Per the PS Store FAQ, Rise of the Ronin will have a character creator — par for the course for a Team Ninja title. Additionally, the upcoming game will feature four-player co-op that’ll allow players to band together with up to three other players to tackle story missions, if they don’t want to go solo. There isn’t a dedicated multiplayer portion or any online player-versus-player missions.
As for the difficulty levels, expect the usual easy, normal, and hard modes. In Rise of the Ronin, they are referred to as Dawn, Dusk, and Twilight difficulties, with Dawn being the easiest. Those who select Dawn will get access to additional settings that’ll aid their journey. These include increased health recovery from consuming medicine, and reducing “Ki loss” from enemy attacks. Last but not least, difficulty level can be changed at any point during the game.
Rise of the Ronin will release on March 22.
