The Last of Us HBO Series Bill’s Town Recreated In The Sims 4

The Last of Us HBO series has been a source of inspiration in some unlikely places as one player has taken the opportunity to recreate Bill’s hometown of Lincoln in The Sims 4. Not only have prominent town buildings been included in the recreation, but the interior of Bill’s home has also been lovingly replicated. Be aware the video does contain show spoilers if you haven’t seen it yet.

Bringing the Last of Us into Sims 4

Sims 4 builder Isambardy decided to create as much of the town as possible rather than stick to her original idea of solely making Bill’s house. The build does start with the exteriors of the buildings but then goes on to show the interior of Bill’s house. The video features familiar rooms including bedrooms, the piano room, the kitchen, and even the hidden basement surveillance room.

To create a rural feel to the town, it was built on a 64×64 lot in Henford-on-Bagley, which is found in the Sims 4 Cottage Living DLC pack. As such, the town was quite restricted by space and many of the buildings are of a smaller scale than they would be in the show. There are the neighboring houses to Bill, the church, a car park, and full compound’s fortifications. The one thing that is missing is the pit, but as that was located outside of the fencing in the show, Isambardy decided to leave it out of the build. Players can download the entire town, or just Bill’s house, by searching for the Gallery ID “Isambardy” and The Sims 4 is now free-to-play on PS5 and PS4.
