HBO’s The Last of Us Season 1 finale will be just as controversial as *that* infamous sequence in The Last of Us Part II, if comments made by Ellie actress Bella Ramsey are any indication.
The Last of Us Season 1 finale will air on March 12
Ramsey revealed to Vogue that episode 9 will be quite brutal. Reflecting upon the episode’s filming, she said that it was “exhausting” because the scenes that played out “broke her.”
“It’s going to divide people massively – massively,” Ramsey emphasized when asked how she thinks viewers will react to the finale. She understandably didn’t elaborate further, and we’ll find out what she means soon enough, but Ramsey did say that filming the final moments of The Last of Us Season 1 were some of her favorite days on set.
“That sounds really masochistic, but it’s the scenes that break me that I love the most, in a way,” she added.
Ramsey’s comments are certainly going to cause quite a stir, and as much as I’m dreading it, I can’t wait to find out what’s about to happen.
The Last of Us Season 1 contains nine episodes. Episode 8 “When We Are in Need” will air this Sunday (March 5th) and the finale will air a week later on March 12th.
