Suicide Squad Battle Pass

Suicide Squad Battle Pass May Only Include Skins and Cosmetics

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will reportedly have a Battle Pass that focuses on skins and cosmetics. While players originally thought the Battle Pass leak was fake, developer sources have seemingly confirmed the feature’s existence in a recent test build that also shows multiple currencies and a focus on live service.

What will the Suicide Squad Battle Pass include?

The planned Battle Pass will be “focused on cosmetic items such as skins” according to a developer who spoke anonymously to VGC. The confirmation was in response to an earlier 4chan leak of the Suicide Squad main menu that revealed the existence of multiple currencies, an in-game store, and the aforementioned Battle Pass as part of the game’s live service offerings.

The developer also clarified that the multiple currencies were different types of XP points players can use to level up and customize their character’s skill trees. He explained how “you don’t start off debuffed and weak. You just start off great and can get ridiculous, like Arkham Knight’s Batman.”

Players had originally thought the leak may be fake after a former Rocksteady developer implied the image wasn’t genuine, but his Tweet has since been deleted. Hopefully Rocksteady or WB Games will comment officially before the game’s release on May 26, 2023.
