PS Plus Premium Games Upgraded

Two PS Plus Premium October 2022 Games Upgraded from PS3 to PS4

Sony doesn’t seem to be having much luck with their PS Plus announcement for this month. Shortly after Ridge Racer 2 was accidentally included in a PlayStation Access video that summarised all of the October 2022 games, the list of Premium titles was changed once again after two of the PS Plus games were upgraded from PS3 to PS4 versions.

Which PS Plus Premium games have been upgraded from PS3 to PS4?

The two PS Plus Premium October 2022 games that are now available on PS4 instead of PS3 are Limbo and Ultra Street Fighter IV. These were stealthily updated in the original PlayStation Blog post but were noticed by Wario 64 on Twitter. This means there are now just two new PS3 games for October and five new PS4 games. The PS Plus Premium list now looks like this:

  • Castlevania: Lords of Shadow (PS3)
  • Everyday Shooter (PS3)
  • Limbo (PS4)
  • Ultra Street Fighter IV (PS4)
  • Yakuza 3 Remastered (PS4)
  • Yakuza 4 Remastered (PS4)
  • Yakuza 5 Remastered (PS4)

Unfortunately, Ridge Racer 2 has not made an appearance in the list, meaning there are still no PS2, PSP, or PlayStation classics coming to this month’s list. The perceived lack of support for the Premium tier is just one of several complaints and is causing many to consider downgrading to PS Plus Extra.
