Need for Speed Unbound Reveal

Need for Speed Unbound Reveal Coming Soon, Suggests Twitter Banner Change

An upcoming Need for Speed Unbound reveal seems to be imminent as the official Twitter account for the franchise, which has laid dormant for more than half a year until today, has changed its banner and profile pic. It now sports a simple “NFS” logo as well as a banner with multiple “NFS” stamps along with several green “Do Not Ignore” decals along the right-hand side.

The official Need for Speed Twitter account also responded to a fan question on the possible reveal this week with a simple emoji of a pair of wide-open eyes. Developer Codemasters then also jumped in with a cheeky reply, saying “Announce Need for Sp…. oh.”

These changes on Twitter aren’t too much of a surprise. As reported on Thursday last week, prominent leaker Tom Henderson stated that the apparent Need for Speed Unbound release date would be December 2, 2022. The reveal trailer will supposedly be around one-and-a-half minutes long and feature a track by rapper A$AP Rocky.

The game will also heavily focus on multiplayer, featuring “meetups” that will make it easy for players to race one another in various locations around the map. A prior report says that the Need for Speed Unbound will be for current-gen consoles only, skipping the PS4 altogether in favor for the PS5.
