In a world where the cordyceps fungal infection has transformed people into terrifying clicking creatures, the show’s advice is to “save who you can save”.

The latest The Last of Us TV series teaser trailer features clips of Bella Ramsey as Ellie and Pedro Pascal as Joel as they and many others make preparations to face a new threat that changes everything and destroys the world as they knew it. There’s a terrifying encounter with a clicker, Nick Offerman’s Bill aiming a gun at somebody in a trench, Joel and Nico Parker’s Sarah fleeing a horde, and a quiet moment with Storm Reid as Riley on a carousel.
