The livestream is embedded below, followed by a brief roundup of all the rumors and surprises that might be in store.
Ubisoft Forward September 2022 livestream and what to expect
Following a number of leaks, Ubisoft finally confirmed the existence of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, previously code named Rift. Featuring Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s Basim, the game is already confirmed to appear at the event. However, Ubisoft reportedly plans to showcase multiple Assassin’s Creed games, which is further confirmed by the “special” showcase it mentions on its website that’ll offer fans a “peek at the future of the franchise.” Here, you can expect to learn more about Assassin’s Creed Infinity – the evolving, live-service game. And if rumors are true, we’ll get to hear about an Assassin’s Creed 1 remake as well.
Beyond that, we might finally hear something about Beyond Good and Evil 2, which has been long-rumored to be in development hell. Ubisoft continues to assure fans and investors otherwise, claiming that development is alive and well. Then, there’s Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, which was recently delayed. From the looks of things, there’s more of a possibility of Ubisoft offering an update on Avatar than Beyond Good and Evil 2.
