PS Plus Extra and Premium members in the Americas now have a slightly shorter list of games to choose from after four games have gone missing from the service during the Europe launch today. The games are a handful of PS4 and PS5 titles that have gone from the PlayStation Plus Extra list and there don’t appear to be any classics removed from the service.
PS Plus Extra and Premium lose four games
The list of missing PS Plus Premium and Extra games includes four PS4/PS5 titles. According to the list of games on the Playstation Store website, all should still be included in the service. However, when checked on a PS4 or PS5 console they are not showing any availability through PS Plus Extra or Premium anymore. These are the games that are now unavailable:
- Evil Genius 2 (PS5 and PS4)
- Y School Heroes: Bustlin’ School life
- Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles
- 428: Shibuya Scramble
Sony did not give any warning that the games were due to be removed from the service and in the case of Y School Heroes: Bustlin’ School life, there’s not even any trace of the game on the PlayStation Store. It is worth mentioning, though, that the US list has also been updated several times since launch (our list published just an hour after launch is now drastically different from the current list) and it is entirely possible that Y School Heroes: Bustlin’ School life wasn’t even included in PS Plus in the Americas in the first place. As another side note, the list of games on the console does differ from that on the website; games like Mahjong Tales: Ancient Wisdom and THE LAST BLADE 2 can be streamed as PS3 classics but are not included on the PS Plus classics list on the website.
In other news, Final Fantasy XVI gameplay will apparently “flow at a breakneck pace” thanks to the speed of the PS5. Elsewhere, DICE has made it clear they are focusing solely on Battlefield 2042 for now and have no plans for anything else.
