Horizon Forbidden West PS5 Bundle

New PS5 Horizon Forbidden West Bundle Still Available in UK

A new PS5 bundle appeared today that offered a PlayStation 5 console with Horizon Forbidden West. As can be expected in this day and age, the standard console bundle sold out shortly after it launched on UK retailer Shopto, although larger bundles are still available. Those who live outside of the UK may find it will soon appear at other retailers in other countries.

PS5 console shortages mean new stock sells out quickly

The new PS5 bundle included a disc version of the console with a single controller, and ironically, it also came with a digital code for Horizon Forbidden West. While potential customers were placed in a queue and were restricted to one console per household, the limited number of consoles still sold out within a relatively short space of time. However, those who didn’t mind paying extra and grabbing the console with additional games and/or a controller still have a chance. There are currently two bundles still available. The first is the Horizon Forbidden West package with LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and Ghostwire: Tokyo for £554.85. The second is the Horizon Forbidden West package with LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and a second Dualsense controller for £589.85. You can join the queue on Shopto if you’re interested.

Despite console shortages, Sony has still managed to sell 19.5 million PS5 consoles since its launch in November 2020. This means Sony has fallen short of its original target of 22 million consoles, but the company is hoping it can increase supplies to shift 18 million units this year alone. However, Sony CFO Hikori Totoki said during the company’s financial webcast, transcribed by VGC, that “we feel that there is a little bit higher demand than that, so if the question is if we can meet the demand, I think we’re still short somewhat.” Only time will tell to see if component shortages will drag things out for much longer.

In other news, Sony has corrected the erroneous Gotham Knights PlayStation Network listing that suggested the game might be getting four-player co-op. Elsewhere, FIFA and EA have officially parted ways with each saying they will be creating their own soccer game in the future.
