It’s Friday, and there’s great news for those waiting for PS5 restocks. The GameStop restock that had been tweeted on Monday is scheduled for today, giving hopeful US customers a chance to purchase the highly sought-after new PlayStation console. UK stores also appear ready for imminent restocks, which is good news for those across the pond who still haven’t managed to snag one. US PS5 Console Restock Update
Today, January 21, 2022, will see GameStop restocking PS5s online. US customers who have a “PowerUp Rewards” membership will be able to boot up the website and compete to snag new PS5 stock. The drop is scheduled for 11 AM ET/8 AM PT, so folks will want to arrive bright and early to have a chance of getting one for themselves. Remember to log in ahead of time and have your payment method at the ready to avoid any unnecessary delays. Every second matters with these drops!
GameStop will be selling a bundle including the PS5 disc version, Call of Duty: Vanguard, an additional DualSense controller in red, a $50 GameStop gift card, and a PS Plus 12 months subscription.
For those who were on the ball, Best Buy had a surprise drop yesterday. Both the PS5 disc and Digital Edition were in stock for a brief amount of time. Congratulations to those lucky enough to score a system for the RRP!
