November 2021 PlayStation Plus Games Confirmed as Knockout City, First Class Trouble, Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning and Three PSVR Games

Dealabs user billbil-kun is still completely accurate with his leaks it seems. He predicted the November 2021 PlayStation Plus lineup would include Knockout City and First Class Trouble for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning for PlayStation 4 only, and The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners for PSVR. Sony has confirmed all of these games as part of the Instant Games Collection for next month, as well as adding The Persistence and Until You Fall for PSVR to complete the list of six games that will be available from November 2.

Sony had already confirmed First Class Trouble to be launching on PS5 and PS4 on November 2 during their State of Play show last night. Joining it on both consoles is Knockout City, which will also be launching on PlayStation 5 on November 2. The native PS5 version will offer two graphics options: Quality Mode with 4K at 60FPS or Performance Mode with 1440p (upscaled to 4K) at 120FPS. As an aside, those who aren’t PS Plus members but who own the game on PS4 already will get a free upgrade to the PS5 version.

PlayStation 4 players can also make use of Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, a remastered version of 38 Studios’ fantasy RPG created by author R.A. Salvatore, Spawn creator Todd McFarlane and Elder Scrolls veteran Ken Rolston. Meanwhile, PSVR owners get three bonus games to celebrate the peripheral’s 5th anniversary. The first of those is The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners, a hugely successful survival adventure game. According to Upload VR, developer Skydance Interactive recently confirmed the game has accumulated $50 million in revenue across Oculus Quest, PSVR, and PC VR platforms.

The Persistence is Firesprite’s first PSVR rogue-lite horror title. Set in the year 2521, security officer Zimri Eder is stuck on a malfunctioning deep space colony starship heading towards a black hole. If that’s not bad enough, the crew has also turned into murderous mutants. The only way to survive is to repair the ship, but to do that you’ll also need to create weapons and gather resources to stop Eder being eaten alive. As an aside, the game’s Complete Edition update added a non-VR mode meaning the game can be played in its entirety on TVs without a PSVR headset. As such, all PS4 players will get a bonus game this month.

Finally, Until You Fall is a PSVR sword fighting game set in a neon fantasy world. Players must match their movements to the synthwave soundtrack to successfully slash, block, cast spells, and dodge to take down the world’s magical creatures without becoming a victim.

All six titles will be available to redeem for PlayStation Plus subscribers from November 2. Knockout City, Kingdoms of Amalur ,and First Class Trouble will all disappear on December 6 while the remaining three PSVR games will stick around for two months, leaving the service on January 3. However, once the games have been redeemed they can be downloaded at any time as long as you have an active PS Plus subscription. This means there’s just four days left to grab the current PlayStation Plus titles too; Hell Let Loose, PGA Tour 2K21, and Mortal Kombat X all disappear on November 1.
