First Class Trouble PS Plus

First Class Trouble Launching in PlayStation Plus for November 2021, Free Games Rumored to Include Knockout City, Kingdoms of Amalur, and The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners

For the first time in five months, the upcoming PlayStation Plus games didn’t leak over the weekend. That just means they waited a couple of days, seeing as the usual leaker, Dealabs user billbil-kun, revealed a partial lineup today. According to his information, four of the six titles are Knockout City and First Class Trouble for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning for PlayStation 4 only, and The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners for PSVR. Sony since confirmed during today’s State of Play that First Class Trouble will be one of the PS Plus titles in November’s list, but has yet to announce the rest.

First Class Trouble is a social deduction game from Invisible Walls ApS. Players are split into two teams on an intergalactic cruise ship. The first team, the Residents, have to collect information on their fellow passengers and use it to eliminate those they suspect of being untrustworthy Personoids. Then they have to shut down the onboard Central Artificial Intelligence Network (CAIN). The other team, the robotic Personoids, have to use CAIN to take over the ship or simply eliminate all Residents instead. Sony did confirm during State of Play that First Class Trouble will be launching on PS5 and PS4 on November 2, available free to PS Plus members. It makes good on Sony’s promise of releasing day one titles into the PlayStation Plus list.

Knockout City is Velan Studios’ take on arena dodgeball matches. Rival crews aim to take over Knockout City with a combination of trickshots and fancy moves across a variety of game modes and locations. If there’s no ball available, players can curl up into a ball and be thrown by their team mates. Players will be able to jump straight into Season 3, which launched at the start of this month with a new map and Brawl Pass. This PS Plus rumor seems to confirm there will indeed be a native PlayStation 5 version that was first revealed through a trophy list a couple of weeks ago, though Velan and EA haven’t yet confirmed it.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is a remastered version of 38 Studios fantasy RPG created by author R.A. Salvatore, Todd McFarlane and Ken Rolston. The world of Amalur has been invaded by the powerful Tuatha army. After  living in harmony, humans and fae have now been torn apart by 20 years of conflict. Resurrected with no pre-determined destiny or fate, you’re the one tasked with saving them. This version will be getting a brand new expansion, Fatesworn, that’s due to be released later this year too.

Finally, The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners is an immersive VR zombie game that throws players into a post-apocalyptic New Orleans now infested with innumerous walkers. Survival is the name of the game as rival factions and other lone survivors can help or hinder with deadly consequences. Supplies need to be scavenged and decisions need to be made, each of which have consequences and affect the way others react to you. The recent Aftershocks update added more campaign missions while there have also been new game modes added.

November’s PS Plus free games include three bonus PSVR games as a celebration of the peripheral’s 5th anniversary, but billbil-kun chose not to reveal two of the titles so that there was some element of surprise ready for what is expected to be their official reveal tomorrow. For now, Hell Let Loose, PGA Tour 2K21 and Mortal Kombat X are the current October 2021 PlayStation Plus titles, available to download through November 1. Once claimed, they will remain in your library as long as you remain a PlayStation Plus subscriber.
