Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was first unveiled at the inaugural DC FanDome last year. Developer Rocksteady’s co-founder Sefton Hill has now teased fans with an in-game image ahead of the game’s return to the event again tomorrow, giving a glimpse of some of the “weird and wonderful reprobates” with which players can team up with to take down the DC Super Heroes.
Featured in the image are Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark, and Captain Boomerang as they stand in front of what is likely to be a LexCorp banner. Who knows what is attracting their attention, but I’m sure we’ll find out during the DC FanDome show that begins at 1PM ET tomorrow, October 16.

The “genre-bending” action-adventure shooter is a continuation of the Arkham-verse set in Metropolis. The quartet above are tasked with saving the world but they’ll have to take on the DC Super Heroes to do so. Each squad member will have their own skills, weapons, and move set, including “enhanced traversal abilities” that allow them to get around the open-world city far easier. Little has been said about Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League since its reveal a year ago with the exception that WWE’s Samoa Joe will be voicing King Shark. Tomorrow’s showcase at least promises to give a few more details on the title, which is currently due to be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2022.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is one of two games confirmed to be at the show, joined by Gotham Knights. As NetherRealm’s Creative Director Ed Boon is also rumored to be at the show, many expect Injustice 3 to be announced too. Of course, the event also showcases DC comics, movies, and TV series so don’t expect gaming to take over all of the headlines. These include The Batman, Black Adam, The Flash, Peacemaker, and Aquaman 2.
Catch the DC FanDome show tomorrow, October 16 starting at 1pm ET to learn more about Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
