PlayStation Plus Games October 2021

October 2021 PlayStation Plus Free Games Confirmed as Hell Let Loose, PGA Tour 2K21, and Mortal Kombat X

Just a couple days ago, Dealabs user billbil-kun made a post once again predicting the games due to be included in PlayStation Plus this month. Just like last month, it seems he was correct. The three October 2021 PlayStation Plus free games are Hell Let Loose for PlayStation 5, and PGA Tour 2K21 and Mortal Kombat X for PS4. These new games go live on Tuesday, October 5.

Hell Let Loose includes two game modes, Warfare and Offensive, taking place on a total of ten maps set on the Western Front that can support two teams of 50 players each. Each map will have up to 99 capture point variations whose different combinations potentially offer thousands of different battles. More maps from the Eastern Front will be added as part of a free post-launch update later this year. Hell Let Loose is launching Day One into PlayStation Plus meaning Sony is returning to their promise of releasing day one titles to the list.

PGA Tour 2K21 was the first golf game created after HB Studios entered a publishing agreement with 2K Games, replacing the developer’s The Golf Club franchise. The game features 15 licensed PGA Tour courses and 11 Tour professionals, including cover star Justin Thomas. There’s also extensive player customization so anybody can become a FedExCup Champion while earning equipment and apparel from plenty of licensed brands. Set up your own clubhouse and devise your own seasons and tournaments that can be played with others online too.

Those who own the PlayStation Plus Collection on PS5 will be disappointed to find they have just two new games this month seeing as Mortal Kombat X is included in this pack already. The best selling game in the franchise, Mortal Kombat X shifted nearly 11 million copies. Players can choose from over 20 different fighters that each come with a selection of different fighting styles, including new characters like Cassie Cage, Erron Black and Takeda. More characters were added as DLC, but because this is not the XL version of the game, these will not be included.

All three titles will be available to redeem for PlayStation Plus subscribers from October 5. They’ll disappear from the collection on November 1, but once the games have been redeemed they can be downloaded at any time as long as you maintain an active PS Plus subscription. This means there’s just five days left to grab the current PlayStation Plus titles too; Overcooked! All You Can Eat, Hitman 2, and Predator: Hunting Grounds all disappear on October 4.
