Paris Games Week 2018 is in full swing, and Koei Tecmo brought a new Dead or Alive 6 to show off. Christie, the fan-favorite femme fatale, is officially joining the fighting game. A new trailer was shown at the conference, although it hasn’t been officially released yet.

Christie is only the latest fighter to make a return for Dead or Alive 6. Earlier in October 2018, the trio of Bass, Tina, and Mila was confirmed to be coming back. In addition, September 2018 saw the return of Ayane, Marie Rose, Honoka, and Bayman. However, it won’t be only returning fighters duking it out this time. A brand-new character, Diego, was revealed over the summer.
Dead or Alive, a series notable for the sexualization of its female characters like Christie, is attempting to tone that down this time around. PSLS recently got to try out Dead or Alive 6 with a hands-on preview. We noted that Team Ninja seems to be putting “a lot of muscle” behind the newest entry in the long-running franchise.
