Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Gets Another Stability Patch

Ubisoft is quick to squash the bugs present Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Another patch was released to improve stability and fix different issues that have come out. The 1.0.5 patch is a small one, less than 1GB on the PS4, but it’s sure to be a relief to anyone who’s been experiencing issues in the game.

Here are the  Assassin’s Creed Odyssey patch notes, for those curious:

  • Improving game’s stability
  • Fixed an issue that led to crashes to dashboard on PS4 and Xbox One after 1.0.3

Unfortunately, it seems as though Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has seen plenty of issues pop up. Only recently, the first planned live event was canceled, following a host of technical issues plaguing them. The 1.0.3 patch, which was a meaty one, apparently created an issue that caused the game to crash. However, Ubisoft is staying on top of these issues, and is attempting to remedy them as quickly as it can. A steady stream of patches have been released following Odyssey’s launch, but here’s hoping the issues finally begin to be few and far between.

Even outside of the bug fixes, Ubisoft is committed to supporting Assassin’s Creed Odyssey well after launch. Despite the first event’s cancellation, live events are still going to take place, bringing a host of weekly challenges to the Greek epic. In addition, the season pass will bring new, episodic adventures for your hero to take part in. In fact, post-launch content for Odyssey will be taking the place of a proper Assassin’s Creed game in 2019.

Despite these issues, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has been very well-received, both critically and commercially. It is available now for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
