In a now-deleted blog post promoting the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 ‘Black Ops Pass,’ Activision mentioned a “brand new Supply Stream system” that grants players new gear as they progress through tiers.
Activision took down the post before we could see it ourselves but Charlie INTEL managed to take a screenshot, which you can check out below.
The text reads:
The brand-new Supply Stream system now grants you new gear as you progress through tiers. While other players are required to reach each tier organically, Black Ops Pass members can skip 10 tiers per season. What’s that mean? In short, you’ll get the chance to own the newest Uniforms, Weapon Variants and Emotes before everybody else.
Black Ops pass maxes out what’s possible in Black Ops 4. It’s your ticket to the best of everything this expansive game has to offer. So, what are you waiting for? Click the banner below and pick up Black Ops Pass today.
It’s unclear why Activision removed the post and/or why this feature wasn’t announced in the past but according to Charlie INTEL, a link to the blog was included in an email the publisher sent out to subscribers.
We’ll update our readers when we have more information. In the meantime, check out our Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 review, if you haven’t already.
