Dark Souls Remastered New Patch

Dark Souls Remastered New Patch Will Make Cheaters Visible

Praise the sun, as Bandai Namco has announced a new patch for Dark Souls Remastered. Though the patch isn’t particularly hefty in terms of features, it does address one specific complaint some PC and PlayStation 4 players are encountering: invisible players. Yes, that’s right, some players are turning invisible when they invade others in the game’s online multiplayer. Thankfully, the new patch will rip the invisibility cloaks right off their shoulders, so you can finally lay the smackdown on them. The full patch notes for all platforms can be viewed below.

In our review of the game, we gave it an 8.5/10, saying, “Dark Souls Remastered is a great trip back to Lordran. While the original game may be showing its age, and various mechanics have been improved in later entries, this may be a trip down memory lane worth the asking price of $39.99 USD for fans of the innovative original. New players to the franchise could do much worse to start here, since the smoothness of the action ensures that each death is due to their own lack of skill and nothing else. This is certainly the best way to experience Dark Souls on console.”

Dark Souls Remastered is available now for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox One, with the Nintendo Switch version still reportedly scheduled to launch sometime this year.
