Project CARS 2 Fun Pack is Coming This Winter, Will Include New Cars and More

Bandai Namco has announced the first expansion for Project CARS 2 today, and it will be available later this winter. The “Fun Pack,” as it’s being called, contains eight new cars built for “maximum sideways fun” as well as two new loose surface tracks for players to experience them on.

With the “Fun Pack,” fans will be able to experience three of the most brutal and dangerous cars in motorsport history that shocked a generation of rallycross fans at the Classic Brands Hatch Rallycross circuit in the late ‘80s. One of the new maps added to the game will be the Circuit De Barcelona-Catalunya Rallycross, where players can experience some of the more severe drift angles that the Fun Pack offers. The other map, the Barcelona Rallycross, also offers up an exciting experience for players to test out their new rallycross cars on.

Adding to Project CARS 2’s already impressive line-up of rallycross content, the fan favourite Circuit De Barcelona-Catalunya Rallycross will encourage drivers to get into some seriously crazed drift angles. Challenge world championship winners Matthias Ekstrom’s and Petter Solberg’s for an all-out top speed. Race in Vaughn Gittin Jr. bespoke off road 1969 Ford Bronco “Brocky” for outrageous vertical flying fun. Burn through rubber with Vaughn’s heroic Ford Mustang RTR Spec – 5D or get an adrenaline rush with the Mustang ’66 RTR designed and tested by Vaughn and his RTR team.
