Ready to be a hero? Capybara Games and Cartoon Network have revealed the first trailer for OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes, a beat ’em up based on the new cartoon series. Let’s Play Heroes will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC soon.

Here’s the first trailer for OK K.O! Let’s Play Heroes:

Capybara Games also wrote a blog originally announcing the title:

Anyone who’s followed CAPY over the years knows our love of cartoons. From Critter Crunch, to Clash of Heroes HD, through the animated commercials for Super Time Force, we’ve always been driven to create super-slick animation in our work. When the opportunity arose to collaborate with Cartoon Network, we jumped on it. We also hugged it really really hard!

Today we’re so excited to announce that CAPY is developing a new game with Cartoon Network based on their upcoming series OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes, an amazing new show created by Ian Jones-Quartey.

OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes is set in Lakewood Plaza, a mall for heroes, where K.O. and his kooky crew of friends are always working to outdo each other as they try to level up and thwart their evil foe Lord Boxman’s plot to destroy the plaza.

For CAPY, helping to build K.O’s world is one of the coolest things we’ve been a part of. With OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes, Ian & Toby are cramming the soul of videogames into a cartoon. CAPY is setting out to do the reverse – mash the language of cartoons into a videogame. We think it’s pretty cool, and we hope fans of both games and cartoons dig it when it releases.

OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. There’s not currently a solid release date for the game.
