Details Regarding the Upcoming Capcom Cup Revealed

With the 2017 PlayStation Experience right around the corner, Capcom has begun detailing their upcoming plans for the Capcom Cup 2017 tournament. Taking place at the PlayStation Experience for the third year in a row, the Capcom Cup will be the final chance for 32 of the best players in the world to compete for the title of Street Fighter V Champion and take home over $370,000 in prize money.

For the first time in the events history, the Capcom Cup will span three days, with the first two days taking place right next door to the PlayStation Experience at the Hilton Anaheim Hotel. Day one of the event will feature the first ever Last Chance Qualifier for the Capcom Cup, which allows players to qualify for the final spot in the Capcom Cup. The 32 players will then compete on day two to make the Top 8, who will then compete in the Finals on day three at the PlayStation Experience in the Anaheim Convention Center.

When

  • Friday, December 8, 2017, 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
  • Saturday, December 9, 2017, 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
  • Sunday, December 10, 2017, 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Where

  • Friday and Saturday are at the Anaheim Hilton Hotel (open to everyone)
  • Sunday Finals are at PlayStation Experience at the Anaheim Convention Center (PSX badge required)

Prices

  • Friday and Saturday spectator admission is free.
  • Last Chance Qualifier online entry is $20 through December 6.
  • On-site registration is available on December 7 for $40.00.
